
If you are keeping a dog(s) in the Village of Genoa City, you are required to get a dog license. Dog licenses expire on December 31st of each year. State Law requires that all dogs be vaccinated against rabies with 30 days of reaching four months of age, and future protection be kept current.
Please include a current Certificate of Rabies Vaccination.
No licenses will mailed; licenses must be picked up at the clerk's office.
Checks, Money Orders, and Cashiers Checks accepted. Cash is not currently being accepted.

*Late fee of $5.00 assessed as of April 1st, or 30 days after adoption of new animal.
ANIMAL REGULATIONS: No family shall own, harbor or keep in its possession more than three dogs on any residential lot without the prior approval of the Village Board, except that a litter of pup or a portion of a litter may be kept for not more than 10 weeks from birth. If more than one family resides on a residential lot, then only two dogs shall be allowed on the residential lot unless prior approval is obtained from the Village Board.
